Who I Am
I am a self-taught full-stack developer and current BSc Information Technology student based in Freetown, Sierra Leone. I started from scratch in early 2025 and have been shipping real applications ever since.
My day-to-day work is building web applications and integrating AI into products using React, Node.js, and the Anthropic SDK. Along the way I picked up Anthropic AI engineering certifications and a Hedera Hashgraph developer credential. I am looking for remote engineering roles where I can do real work from day one.

Started building and shipping real applications from scratch. Learned React, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB by building actual projects rather than tutorials, deployed them to Vercel, and delivered the first client work including news platforms and portfolio sites.
Earned Anthropic developer certifications covering the Claude API, Model Context Protocol, and agent architecture. Completed the Hedera Hashgraph Developer Course and received the HCERT credential, verified on-chain. Added Python and Flutter to the stack.

A multi-category news platform built with Node.js and Express on the backend, React on the frontend. Articles are stored in MongoDB with a compound index on category, publish status, and date for fast filtered queries. Real-time notifications run over Socket.IO, scoped to per-user rooms rather than broadcast to everyone. Authentication uses JWT bearer tokens. Deployed on Vercel with the API running as serverless functions.
A reading curation platform built with Next.js. Content is organised by curator collections rather than algorithmic feeds, a deliberate product decision to keep the reading experience focused. Supabase handles Postgres storage and auth, and Stripe covers subscriptions. Deployed on Vercel.
A portfolio site built for a researcher and academic. The brief required a clean reading experience for long-form writing, so the layout prioritises typography and minimal distraction. Built with Next.js and MongoDB, with Cloudinary handling image delivery and Resend sending contact-form notifications. Custom domain configured and live on Vercel.
A decentralised application built on the Hedera Hashgraph network using the Hedera JavaScript SDK. Uses the Hedera Consensus Service to write tamper-evident records to a public topic, which means any third party can verify the log without trusting a central server. Hedera was chosen over Ethereum because transaction fees average under $0.001, which made it practical for frequent writes. The HCERT credential for this work is verified on-chain and viewable on Hashscan.
A curated recommendation platform for long-form content, built to solve a specific problem: good book, podcast, and article recommendations get buried in noisy social feeds and group chats. Users build a shelf of picks tied to their identity as a curator, so discovery is trust-based rather than algorithmic. Built with Next.js and deployed on Vercel, designed and engineered end to end.
A public website and applications portal for a Sierra Leonean technical and management college, built with Next.js. Covers programme listings, admissions, and a student-facing login, replacing what the institution previously had no credible online presence for. Deployed as a live demo ahead of production rollout.
A WordPress site built for a Sierra Leone NGO that needed an accessible way to tell its story, showcase its programmes, and take donations. The brief prioritised a content structure the NGO's own team could update without developer help, so pages, gallery, and services all run through WordPress's native editing rather than custom code.
